The School for Social Economy participated to the seminar “Cooperatives and School”, organized by ACES Andalusia – the Andalusian Association of Social Economy Schools – on 29 November 2017 in Cordoba (Spain), to present the updates about the deliverables of COOPLAB, a project co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ and carried out by 5 partners from 4 European countries: Italy, Spain, France and Belgium. The program has the objective of promoting the awareness about worker cooperatives and cooperative entrepreneurship among young people in Europe.
The project is developing methodologies, tools and resources aimed to teachers, trainers and facilitators who are willing to guide a group of young people to discover cooperative entrepreneurship.
The teachers who attended the event came from different schools constituted as worker cooperatives and they had the chance to see the updates about the web portal that will host all the resources created by the project: videos, training manuals, work templates and an online serious game.
The web-portal will allow uploading and sharing presentations and materials related to cooperative educational projects carried out by schools and to get in touch with other educational centres and projects all over Europe.
